For those of you wondering, I changed the original to sepia, then poster edged it.

Sepia tones really fit this style of architecture so well. Its says its been there a while. This is a great photo.

Sephia makes it look vintage, which in this case suits this picture and it's architecture :)

I love this photo, it reminds me of the old buildings (late 19th century era) that are on our Main Street! I also love the sepia tone you used.

Considering the quote what I like the best is how the photo
looks vintage yet could be a street from today
could be a small town main street or a crowded group of buildings on a city street
great versatile shot!
The black & white feel of this photo makes it feel so vintage. With the patriotic bunting on the windows, it looks like it could be a campaign stop of someone like Grover cleveland or Wm. McKinley in the 1890s. No cars emphasize that.
The subdued tones make it retro in a subtle way, and I like it!

I'm late getting here from last week's contest (it was a hectic week!) but I did want to pop by to check out everyone's entries.
I've got to agree with Ralph on this one, the sepia tone most definitely makes this picture look vintage - almost like a post card from the early 1900's in a big city.
